Mode of Internship – Hybrid


Basic Requirements

  • Students applying for the internship programme should be regular undergraduate students from Political Science/ History/ International Relations/ Economics, or other Social Science Subjects
  • Should possess a minimum of 70 percent in class XII and a minimum of 65 percent in the previous semester
  • Should possess an interest in writing, exchanging ideas on culture, international relations, and sustainability issues
  • Should be able to attend lectures in person, attend field visits, and present assignments and presentations.

Essentialities of Applications

  • Applicant should share their application at iscskol@gmail.com and by no other means
  • The Application Date – 1st June to 30th June 2026

The Application should comprise

  1. Annexture-I Forwarding Letter addressed to- The Director, Institute of Social and Cultural Studies, ISCS (Letter should comprise- the name of the applicant, mobile no, email id, and full address)
  2. Annexture-II Soft copy 1 Passport photo
  3. Annexture-III Soft copy of class XII Mark Sheet (CBSE/ICSC/West Bengal Board)
  4. Annexture-IV Soft copy of the Mark Sheet of the previous semester
  5. Annexture-V Soft copy of Adhar Card/ Voter Card (any one)
  6. Annexture-VI 500 words write up describing your interest in being an ISCS intern
  7. Annexture-VII Additional Documents if any (Prior Internship, Special courses, Special Accomplishments)
  • All the Annexures should be compiled in one PDF and should be sent by the mentioned date to the given mail ID
  • The application will be scrutinized, selected applicant will be communicated about the internship roster and details by phone/mail
  • Late and unorganized applications will not be entertained, as we have a limited capacity of 25 students only.

Selected candidates will receive a confirmation mails between 10 to 15th July 2026

  • Will learn to present a paper, write a report, comprehend SOPs, compose articles for publication, and initiate the exchange of thoughts over one-to-one interactions with experts.

Ps: This Schedule is subject to change given the circumstantial reasons.

Also certificates will not be given to students who do not participate in visits, group or individual presentations.
